My name is Derek Schmidt, and I am I senior at Mitchell High School. I'm involved in a lot of art-related activities, such as chorus, show choir, and graphic design. I enjoy drawing during class, and I'm an extreme proncrastinator. I usually pass with A's , but sometimes my lack of effort gets the better of me. My favorite non-school related activites incude: drawing, sleeping, taking naps, lazing around, playing videogames, breaking my computer, dozing off, and watching the Twins and Vikings. Currently I'm employeed at Pizza Ranch, andnext year I'll be attending SDSU for a major in graphic design.

In the future, I hope to get through my life at SDSU without a hitch, and earn a major in graphic design. After college, I'd like to get a good job somewhere where I could create for a living, possibly Daktronics. But I'd also like to get serious art-schooling, so I hope to someday earn enough coin to finance going to a prestigious art school for further education and application. Someday I hope to work for Google, and be widely recognized as a great artist.
