Come take a look at the wonderful imagination in Mrs. Dodd's Begindergarten class! This morning, the students took a break to use their imagination as they played with their friends in the kitchen making cupcakes, racing their cars with Bumblebee, and playing dinosaurs! We love getting to see our youngest learners expand on their social skills, imaginative play, and more when they are having fun!

Take a look at what's for lunch on Wednesday & these fun national days!

How fast is the Earth spinning? Mrs. Elias's fifth-grade class had a discussion and estimated the Earth's speed, providing reasoning behind their estimations. Now, these young scientists are completing an experiment to calculate the Earth's speed!

Today, during Library with Mrs. Gerlach, the fifth graders in Mrs. Duffy's class played a game of Jeopardy because they finished reading their book, 'The 6th Grade Nickname Game.' All the Jeopardy questions were related to the book. What a fun way to check for comprehension!

Becker/Stolp's multiage classrooms have been working hard during their genius hour for the third quarter! Today they got to present their projects to their families, staff, and students of all ages. We love getting to see their deep dives into topics of their choice and the projects that they create with all they have learned. We know these geniuses worked hard for these projects. We are so excited to watch them get out into the community next quarter with their new projects!

Mrs. Neugebauer, one of our speech teachers, is a pro at making learning fun! Today, she's diving into the world of K sounds with one of our kindergarten students. It's amazing to see the progress and enthusiasm in our little learners. Keep up the great work, Mrs. Neugebauer!

🤓💡 From creating connections to unraveling the mysteries of electricity, our students dove deep into the world of circuits.
🔍Research: Armed with curiosity, our students delved into the world of circuits, studying theories, and understanding the science behind the magic.
🤔Hypotheses: They formulated hypotheses, made predictions about how circuits work and what might happen when they experiment with different components.
🔬Testing Claims: The labs were buzzing with activity as our scientists put their hypotheses to the test, exploring the ins and outs of circuits with hands-on experiments.
🎉Confirmed or Busted: The moment of truth arrived as students unveiled their results, confirming or busting their hypotheses. The thrill of discovery was palpable.
🌐Sharing Findings: But the fun didn't stop there! Our budding scientists shared their exciting findings with fellow students, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing community.
