The Summer Meals Program began today at Longfellow, Gertie Belle, Mitchell Middle School, and Mitchell High School. Please be aware there are still students present near these buildings and that the yellow school zone lights will still be on. Thanks for helping to keep our kids safe!

Today was her last "last day of school."
I don't know anyone who has touched more lives than Judy Miiller at GBR. From the countless students and families to the staff that have worked with and alongside her, she has been an institution at the front desk of GBR. We're sincerely going to miss Judy's presence in the office next year! We wish her nothing but the best in her retirement, and we at GBR have been lucky to work with her. Thanks for everything, Judy!
Today, May 26th, marks the last day of school. Thanks for a great year, everyone! Learners BK-4 and incoming kindergartners we'll see you in August - 5th graders, good luck at MMS! Remember to "Enjoy the Ride" this summer!
This morning as a celebration for our students rocking the raffle ticket sales this spring they got to pop "mystery" balloons over Mr. Gubbrud. This event was put together by the PTA. Students spun the wheel, and whatever it landed on is what balloon they received. Balloons were filled with ketchup, mustard, glitter, yogurt, and other fun stuff! Even Judy Miiller, a longtime administrative assistant got in on the fun! Great job PTA and learners for an amazing raffle sale!
Second Grade went down to Your Shop on Main Street! They made Dala horses which originated in Sweden. They had such a great time! 🐴

The students in 1V have been hard at work learning about animals, habitats, and how to write factual information. They celebrated on Friday by presenting their animals at their animal fair. #GBR🏹
