Check out the new addition to the GBR Library! It’s a book vending machine that runs on special tokens! Through this machine we will be able to put books in the hands and homes of learners to keep forever. Books will be given or earned, and learners will get to choose which book they would like. What a fun addition!

GBR Bingo Night is tonight from 6 to 7:30 PM at Gertie Belle Rogers Elementary!
First grade read "Real Cowboys" this week during our literacy block. They were focusing on the comprehension skill of asking questions during, before, and after reading. Thanks to Dustin Schroth for teaching our class about cowboy life on a ranch and rodeo. Thanks to Dr. Michael Patrick for teaching us about nutrition and plants around our community for farm animals. Thank you for taking the time to teach and answer our questions.

Great time this morning with our LEGO Spike Essential Kits. Thanks KIDS Grant Program. Our learners are loving these intense STEM Challenges! The kits include LEGOs, a Bluetooth hub, motors, lights, literally all the bells and whistles!
