Mitchell High School would like to announce that a student has been selected as a semifinalist for the National Merit Scholarship award. MHS Senior Racquel Driedger was selected as one of 16,000 semifinalists. This spring, some 7,140 winners of a scholarship will be selected from that pool. The school received notification of Racquel's selection and she was presented with a certificate to recognize this prestigious honor. Congratulation Racquel! Your hard work and determination have paid off. Our school is extremely proud of your accomplishments. Good Luck!!!

It’s that time of year: From Oct. 1 to Nov. 30, high school seniors can apply to any of South Dakota’s Board of Regents universities and Technical Colleges for FREE. The free application period is one way to encourage the state’s young citizens to explore postsecondary opportunities in their own backyard.
