Congratulations to Mrs. Pierson, Mrs. Steckel, and Mrs. Ver Hey on their KIDS Grant award for 2023!! They were awarded a grant for $2,004.46!! Here is a brief summary of their grant:
"As a team of seventh-grade teachers, we wanted to write a KIDS grant that would help our students get the opportunity to get some fresh air during the day, have a reward for staying off of the missing list, and allow our students to just be kids and play with one another.
Because we have been awarded our KIDS grant, MMS teachers will have access to a few outdoor seating options and items such as a football, kickball, spike ball set, and so on.
We are beyond thankful for these outdoor items for our students. The MMS teachers look forward to giving our students a fun brain break and fresh air during the school day!
