Book Fairs - Firetrucks - Cross Country Stars-Conferences! WOW
Our Lions had a very exciting day today, capping off a busy and fun week. Today the fire truck came and our begindergarten, kindergarten and first graders got the chance to take a closer look! Then, the MHS Cross Country team heading off to the State Meet tomorrow came to let us cheer them on. LET'S GO KERNELS!!
This week we had the AMAZING book fair in our library with special browsing days and donuts for our parents and grandparents who came to shop. On Thursday, we held our parent/teacher conferences and were hapy to be able to sit down with parents and tell them how awesome their kids are!! We had some beautiful weather for the middle of October as well.

UPDATE FREE/REDUCED ELIGIBILITY - If you have not filled out a new free & reduced meal application form for the 23-24 school year, please do so now! Last year's eligibility has expired. School photos were sent home yesterday. If you did not place an order on picture day, you should still have received a paper directing you to a site where you can still order them if you choose. If you are not happy with your current photos or missed that day, picture retakes are Wed. Oct 18th.
