Germs are still going strong! While we know we can’t stop them entirely, reinforcing good health habits at home helps protect everyone. Please remind your children to wash hands, cover coughs, and take care of themselves. Thank you for your help!

We look forward to seeing you at parent/teacher conferences on February 5th!

It's going to be cold outside but warm in our school!

Longfellow is proud to announce this year's Teacher and Classified Staff of the Year! Congratulations!

Save the date! The book fair is coming up!!

With a 3-day weekend ahead of us, let's put these germs behind us! If your child is running a fever, keep them home. Germs are one thing we do not want to share.

Are your kiddos looking a little shaggy lately? Is their hair getting in the way? Hollywood Style has got your covered. They will be providing haircuts at our MSD Caring Closet Pop-Up events each month. SIGN UP and let them help your kids look and feel their best!

Show your school spirit in style! The MHS store now has game-day overalls—just like the ones you see at college games. Imagine the stands packed with a sea of black and yellow. ORDER yours now and help bring the energy!

*IMPORTANT*
School zones are active. Please SLOW DOWN to the posted limit and stop for crossing guards. Distracted driving is NOT worth the risk. If you have teen drivers, please remind them as well.

Teacher and Staff of the Year nominations are due THIS FRIDAY! Please turn in those green or blue papers to the office. If you need another copy, please stop at the office.

Now's the time to join our Longfellow Family Fitness Challenge. Mrs. Eitemiller comes up with such fun activities.

To be honest, we like to sleep in too. However, we are ready to have our Lions back in the building. Plus, we probably need to add fruits and vegetables to our diet again. Our cookie supply is running out.

Happy New Year from all of us at Longfellow Elementary! We are looking forward to seeing our Lions on Monday the 5th! Please check out our newsletter to see some of what we did last month. See you again on Monday! https://app.smore.com/n/khq7vy

Teacher and Classified Staff of the Year nomination sheets will be going home today. Please fill those out and return to the office by January 9th.

Our Student Council did a terrific job of coming up with super easy, but fun, dress up days for students next week. Just for this week, Santa hats are allowed, however, students will be asked to remove them if they become a distraction.

Friday is ugly sweater day. Don't worry, it doesn't HAVE to be ugly. Just have fun! Santa hats are allowed but students will be asked to remove them if they become a distraction.

Join our Spirit Committee tomorrow morning for cocoa, cider, and plenty of cheer! We’re grateful for your amazing kids and all you do to support their learning. Stop by to say hi, grab a cup, and spread a little kindness to the next person you meet.

Would you rather........ help (20) 5 year-olds get dressed for outdoor recess or spend 20 minutes with a rabid racoon?
