September's Longfellow Newsletter is here! Even though we've only had 8 days of school, our teachers somehow packed them full of fun activities and learning already! Wow!! Thank you for sharing your wonderful kids with us. We look forward to all that this school year holds for each and every one of them; new adventures, lost teeth, ah-ha moments, tough love, growth, laughs, tears, and everything in between. Longfellow is proud to announce that several of our teachers were granted a KIDS Grant which is made possible by generous support from Mitchell Area Charitable Foundation, United Way, Kristi Martin, Jen Bradley, Cindy Krall, and Roger Musick. We are so excited for our learners! Who's getting excited??? We can't wait to see you all again in a few short hours! OPEN HOUSE is tonight from 5pm-6pm!!! You can bring supplies, meet teachers, see the classroom, put money in lunch account, buy headphones, etc. Oh, and don't forget to take a picture with our lion out front!
Are you ready to see all of us? We're ready to see our lions again and meet our newest lions!! The classrooms are decorated, floors are shiny, our lion is spiffed up and ready for pictures! Please stop in between 5-6 pm to see your classroom, ***Wednesday August 14th***, meet your teacher and drop off any supplies you may have!!

Has your child been watching your mail for their welcome letter to school? No? They're not ready for summer to end? We understand!! However, they can expect their letter next week. Our office staff will be in the building starting August 7th.
Some of you may want to get an early jump on things. There might be others of us who plan to use every second of summer we have. Open House Aug 14th. First Day of School Aug 21st.

The Mitchell High School showchoir Friend de Coup is excited to again offer their Friend de Camp!
